Craft a strange looking glider to rival any paper aeroplane!

You Will Need

• Coloured card
• Coloured pens
• Scissors
• Cello tape

Step 1:

Cut out 2 strips along the short edge of an A4 piece of card. Both should be about an inch wide.

Step 2:

Cut one piece so it’s a little shorter than the other.

Step 3:

Use your coloured pens to give your glider a unique design. This can be anything you like, make it stand out!

Step 4:

To make the shape of the glider, bend each strip into a loop and use tape to secure it.

Step 5:

Tape the loops to each end of the straw. Make sure the straw is on the inside of the loops and that the loops are in line with one another.

Complete!

That’s your glider completed! Now try it out; give it a gentle throw just like you would throw a paper aeroplane and see how far it glides.
