Walking your dog at Whitelee Windfarm is a great way to explore the rugged wilderness of Eaglesham moor.

Before heading to the windfarm we ask that you read our weather precautions and health and safety information.

We ask that you also follow some simple guidance:

• When entering and leaving the windfarm, make sure you have your dog on a lead and under close control. The access road to the car park is narrow and often busy with cars, busses, cyclists and pedestrians.
• When adventuring out on the windfarm site, please also keep your dog under close control and do not allow it to trouble others. Not everyone is a dog lover and some people, particularly small children, are wary of large dogs so please take this into consideration.
• We ask that you do not allow your dog to foul surfaced routes, maintained verges, site entrances, car parks or other public areas and to make use of the bins provided on site.
• Whitelee is used by farm animals for grazing and we ask that you have your dog on a short lead and under control if in close proximity to any sheep or cows you make come across on site. Never let your dog worry or attack livestock.
• We ask that you never take your dog into a field where there are calves or lambs.
• Please keep your dog on a short lead or under close control during the bird breeding season (usually 1st March to 31st July) in areas such as moorland, forests, grassland, and loch shores.
